We’re used to the occasional hot-air balloon flying over the city, but this is the first time we saw a helium gas balloon! The writing on it says Fribourg Freiburg Challenge which must have to do something with the website FRChallenge.ch, but I’m not sure what’s it all about or why this balloon was flying around here since my French is not good enough to understand the site.

I finally managed to catch Lufthansa’s A340 today, but it’s still a little blurry. This is the only four-engine jet currently starting and landing in Düsseldorf, although Emirates Airways will start using the A380 this Summer – which we probably won’t be able to see from our location, because Emirates does not take the North route anymore on the way to Dubai.
