This is a painted transformer station in the middle of the city
– it’s right inside a small island of green and it fits right in!

There was something large and feathery waddling around the lawn…
it seems like the crows get bigger every year!

This pedestrian bridge over Mülheim’s Tourainer Ring is relatively new, it was built in the early 1990s when a new building complex on the site of an abandoned factory was constructed and the shopping center and postoffice needed to be connected to the other side. It isn’t much in use though and you seldom see people walking up there. On the right is, of course, one of the inner city highrises.

One last photo of the migrating cranes from late November.

Only a couple of days until Christmas! For the fourth Advent Sunday, here’s
this year’s tree with a bit more natural colour timing and a nice blue sky.

This was taken from below the railway bridge crossing Mülheim’s Tourainer Ring looking to the Northwest – it’s much too complicated to explain where those streets actually lead and a look at Google Maps via the link below is recommended instead. Let’s just say that one of the routes leads back to the rear entrance of the main railway station which most people unfamiliar with the city never expect and I’m told that even some satnavs get confused!
