Moonstack #47

Finally a proper chance to test out the SX1 with the Moon – although I have messed this up a bit because I had the camera set to a higher ISO accidentially. I stacked ten of them together with RegiStax and the result is not great, but a good example how HUGE the Moon has now become – the larger zoom and the higher resolution let me get a lot closer now!

City Views #290: Oberhausen 12

Another look down Oberhausen’s Mülheimer Strasse with the church towering in the background. Sadly I didn’t have time to walk over there or I would have taken some closer photos of the church.

Still more night Zinnias… I have so many flower photos left,

Winter Migration 2014 #12

A cropped closeup which I had to process a little – but it still looks closer than I’ve ever gotten. But this also reveals that those don’t seem to be Cranes at all, but Geese! I think the wing and neck shapes give it away and although this photo is not detailed enough to see them properly, I think they might be Canada Geese.
