One more view from the bridge of Oberhausen’s Mülheimer Strasse crossing one of the main railway lines in the area. In this photo, another freight train obliged me with coming into the shot and you can also see parts of the Turbinenhalle complex in the background I showed on the earlier photos. The sign says OBERHAUSEN HBF 1200m – the main railway station is 1.2 kilometers in the direction the train is going. If you look at the Google Maps link I posted yesterday, you can follow the railway line to the west through the big triangle and to the south to see the station.

Another surprisingly good-looking night Zinnia.

Trying to get close to the cranes in the sky with the telezoom of the SX1, which turned out to be quite impressive. This is an uncropped photo at full zoom.

The big backyard birch was still full of leaves ten days ago when I shot this photo.

One of the best Zinnia night shots from this summer!

A different, wide-angle view of the railway line crossing Oberhausen’s Mülheimer Strasse. Here you can see the slight curve the line makes, this photo was taken from almost exactly this point on Google Maps looking to the east.

Another Rose in the night…

Another attempt at processing the not quite perfect photos of the mystery bird I spotted three days ago – which is still unidentified. I haven’t been able to find anything remotely similar yet, but some clues from the social networks have come up that it might be a juvenile starling. Very curious!

That Cactusflower pair from the top… with a newcomer on the side!
