A look down the Mülheimer Strasse in Oberhausen in direction of the old water tower. I had several shots of these and all of them looked good, but it was hard to choose. This is the portrait version, another landscape version is going to be in tomorrow’s post because I couldn’t decide between them!

There was also this in the part of Oberhausen I had a little stroll recently and I just couldn’t resist taking this photo, especially with those nice clouds overhead. But I certainly didn’t go inside!

First attempt at planespotting with the SX1! This Lufthansa Airbus was actually flying pretty high, but the larger zoom and the higher resolution brought it surprisingly close. Can’t wait to get a chance at capturing one of the lower starting A330 or A340, those ought to really fill the frame!
