City Views #201: Forum Tower

Continuing the City Views series, here is something typically Mülheim: this is the main entrance of the Forum shopping mall. This tower used to be all glass before a recent renovation, when the tower was shortened and the glass replaced by these grey things – probably because it had cost a fortune to heat this thing in cold weather. I can’t say it’s much of an improvement – the sense and purpose of this thing has always escaped me.
