The Birdspotting Gallery of 2015 continues the complete gallery posts and this one contains some of my favourite photos from last year, including a few birds I’ve never photographed before among all the regular feathered visitors. BIRDSPOTTING 2015

The crossing of Mülheim’s Kämpchen- and Oberstrasse has a stretch of older houses on this side which probably date back to the early 1900s. There used to be a bakery in the corner shop until the late 1990s, but since then it has been mostly empty. The house has been nicely repainted recently, though and looks quite good – the colour version of this photo shows this much better than the black and white!

This is only a somewhat abstract blurry shot of two of the many crows that have been coming to our neighbourhood’s trees in the last couple of evenings, making a huge racket for several hours. We’ve never had something like this here before and it’s quite amazing to see and hear!

No Moon shots due to clouds today or on the 20th, but yesterday I had a chance before the nasty weather came – so here’s an almost full Moon from last evening!

Since the top blossom started to wilt today, I went for a low angle to hide it behind the second one :-).
